Hoboken is a vibrant, growing, urban community. The little city is known as the birth place of Frank Sinatra, home to Cake Boss, and even for it's festivals and breath-taking views of the New York skyline. With its growing popularity amongst New Jersey and New York City residents, Hoboken continues to shape into a city filled with unique and city-chic character.
Due to their close proximity to New York, many communities local to Hoboken possess the same characteristics FemCity Hoboken seeks: driven, professional and positive businesswomen ready to take on new friendships and build a meaningful database of professional colleagues while learning or engaging together at every event!
I am ecstatic to bring Femfessionals to Hoboken and connect many local, professional women together with other like-minded, fun and savvy businesswomen. As a NJ resident and business woman, I know we seek meaningful connections and really want to better our community for us, our families, and future generations. I recognize the incredible diversity, strength and spirit fellow "Jersey Girl" residents share and aim to strengthen these qualities as individuals and as professional women in business. The FemCity Hoboken team is excited to connect us women in unique ways that will bring a variety of fun events each month to take part in. For example, some ideas up our sleeves include a "walking" networking meeting to incorpate some light fitness then end with a special 99 calorie cocktail, a website/business card review session over tapas, and even run a special event in Autumn to help the local Hoboken shelter!
I have a lot of fun ideas, and while some may be unconventional, I promise fun with a purpose at each event. If you really want to grow your network, you will find my qualitative approach not only different to standard networking events, but enjoyable, engaging and meaningful. FemCity Hoboken welcomes you to our chapter and we are excited to get to know you!
Gabriela Salamanca is the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Planner/Designer for No Limit Events LLC, a chic and sophisticated wedding/special events firm located in the Northern NJ area. Her work and contributions within the special events industry have been featured in various media, blogs and publications. Like any of her clients or customers would demand, she believes each deserves only the best by utilizing a solid understanding of customer satisfaction and service. Put simply, she and her firm believe in exceptional quality over quantity.
Gabriela has, and continues to serve, on the Event Planning Committee for Wish Upon a Wedding NJ, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing weddings for couples facing terminal illnesses. As a firm believer in charitable contributions and helping struggling families in her local communities, Gabriela actively runs an annual toy drive for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Children's Hospital with her company, No Limit Events LLC.
Gabriela is happily married to her husband and business partner Justin and is currently working to complete her Master's Degree in Business Management. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, fine wines, and reading Architectural Digest!
