I started a non-profit, Rippled Purpose in May of 2012 to place schools in slums around the world, beginning with India, after spending 2 months with girls who had been forced into the sex slave trade and with children living in slums. Thousands of children from all over the world are sold into the sex slave trade each year. One of the ways to prevent this atrocity, is to eliminate their vulnerability through education.I created a retail company, Blessed Lotus, which sells tunics and pashminas. 100% of the profits go to giving hope to these precious kids.
